James F. Perry, President & CEO

As President of James F. Perry & Company, Jim Perry is responsible for the overall management of the firm. He has amassed over 35 years of commercial mortgage experience during his professional career. Prior to founding his own company in 1990, Mr. Perry was Executive Vice President of Professional Bancorp Mortgage Company in Coral Gables, Florida for five years where he was responsible for production, underwriting and marketing of income-producing property construction, as well as interim and permanent loans.

From 1973 until he opened James F. Perry & Company in 1990, he was also Executive Vice President of Jim Perry & Company, a subsidiary of Professional Savings Bank that specialized in servicing income property loans with correspondent investors and the bank's portfolio. From 1977-1990, he also was the president of and managed P.M. Realty, a real estate brokerage firm that evaluated and analyzed commercial properties considered for equity sales.

In the late 1960s and early 1970s, Mr. Perry was Director of Governmental and Public Affairs for the Tallahassee Chamber of Commerce and served as Special Assistant to the Governor.

A Licensed State of Florida Mortgage Broker and Real Estate Broker, Mr. Perry earned a Master's Degree in Administration from Bowling Green State University and a Bachelor's Degree in Business and Education.

Among his civic accomplishments, Mr. Perry is a past president and board member of the Kiwanis Club of Miami, a member of the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce, Friends of the Fine Arts Committee at Florida International University and United Way of Miami-Dade County.
